I was first introduced to Emma and Ben when the lovely bride contacted me having seen one of my adverts online. We arranged to have a call ahead of the wedding where she told me about the details of their York House ceremony as well as the bigger celebration that they were going to be having on the following Saturday with their extended family and friends. In our chat Emma was so friendly and bubbly and we got on so well. I knew that this was going to be a lovely couple to work with.
Having their legal ceremony for their wedding at York House had great sentimental value to Emma and Ben as the groom’s parents had been previously married in the same room (which personally I loved!). On the day I met Ben and Emma an hour ahead of the ceremony to take advantage of the beautiful York House gardens for some couple’s photos. The grounds are open to the public and I had been to visit the venue prior to the wedding where a lady from their very friendly team also kindly showed me the beautiful ceremony room. Our time in the gardens was relaxed and we chatted our way around different locations enabling me to the give Ben and Emma a variety of shots.
Whilst the couple went for their pre ceremony interview and with an intimate guest list of just 9 this allowed me a small amount of time with Emma and Ben’s very friendly families who made me feel so welcome. Then came the time for the ceremony itself which was simple, cosy and made all those in the room feel involved in the room feel involved. We finished our time together with a couple of group shots in the garden of the newlyweds and their immediate family.
Thank you so much for having me join you on your special day and I wish you so much love and happiness for the future.
