2019 in review…

Back to blog list
  1. Where do I even begin?!

I had the absolute pleasure, no honour, of being invited to photograph some truly awesome weddings. Varying from 3 to 100+ guests, with couples being married in churches, registry offices, barns and art pavilions…to name but a few. Each and every wedding has been totally unique and a complete joy to be a part of with family and friends who have made me feel so welcome (some even stay in touch which I love). Then there’s the couples themselves who have quite simply, been phenomenal. I struggle for the superlatives. I have been so lucky to work with fun, down to earth and up for a laugh couples who have whole heartedly embraced their day. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I have the best job in the world. Thank you for having me there with you.

To finish on a personal note. 2019 was also the year that I returned to work from maternity leave and took on the title of ‘working mum’. It’s quite different editing photographs when you’ve got a small person tottering around. Needless to say the way in which I work has changed and we have adapted. Over the summer it felt like my husband and I were ships in the night, passing our son over as he returned from work and I then started. But we did it and I am so thankful for his unwavering love and support in all that I do.

Now…here’s a few of my personal favourites from 2019.

Happy New Year to you. Cx
