Autumn engagement shoot at Cannizaro Park, Wimbledon

A fun and relaxed engagement shoot at Cannizzaro Park, Wimbledon.

I met Gemma and Damien at the stunning Cannizzaro Park in Wimbledon for our engagement shoot. They had enjoyed a childfree night at the stunning Hotel du Vin and were finishing off their stay with our time together. I have been fortunate enough to photograph Gemma and Damien numerous times before so knew that they were going to be amazing in front of the camera. Gemma and Damien got engaged last year and not only have they had the dreaded C-19 to deal with but they have also had the most gorgeous little boy. You would never guess from these photographs that Gemma is a new mum! So this made their time together even more special as it gave them a moment to focus on ‘them’.

We thought we were going to have to postpone the shoot as the British weather initially did not look like it was going to play ball, but thankfully not only did it not rain but we even got a glimmer of sunshine. Our shoot took place on the first day of Autumn and we were greeted with all of the beautiful tones to signal the change in season. The park gave us the perfect variety of backdrops. You would never believe that we were so close to the centre of London. We took a leisurely stroll around the grounds and captured shots as we went.
