It’s my birthday today. I could do a profound post It’s my birthday today. I could do a profound post about how amazing my last year has been and my hopes and dreams for the next. But today has been full of the simplest of joys, so I thought I’d do a bit of a different post for me and share them with you completely unedited: 1. Looking back at my 40th year and realizing just how much we as a family have achieved. Ok this photo is edited. 2. Waking up to the sound of my boys singing happy birthday to me, I didn’t even care that it was pre 6am because they were so excited. 3. Meeting my gorgeous Mum and Dad for coffee and sitting for hours just chatting. 4. Driving to meet my husband after he finished work for a lovely long lunch together at @theorangetreepics which was banging. I will absolutely be going back! 5. Being surprised with a candle in my STP. So simple and I loved it. 6. Receiving beautiful flowers from my boys and my bestie. My house now smells incredible. 7. Heading off to the school Halloween disco. Some people’s idea of hell but seeing the joy on my boys faces was everything! 8. My eldest even saved a birthday dance for me ❤️ in-front of all of his friends! 9. My team. Gah I love them. 10. My main squeeze. Words will never do justice for how much I love this man! So there we have it. The first day of 41.
