There’s something about a summer wedding that just feels effortless – and Georgia and Jai’s big day at Millbridge Court was exactly that. Having previously photographed Georgia’s Mum’s wedding it was so lovely to be able to celebrate with their family again. With its relaxed vibe, stunning surroundings, and a whole lot of love, it was the perfect celebration of their new chapter together. Georgia and Jai were absolutely effortless to chat to ahead of their wedding during our planning and it made me so excited to document their day for them.
A Beautiful Summer Day
Georgia and Jai’s wedding day kicked off with the sun shining bright, giving everything that perfect summer glow. Millbridge Court, nestled in the heart of the countryside, looked absolutely stunning, with the lush green gardens and rustic charm creating the ideal setting for their celebration. The whole day had a laid-back, easy going feel – exactly how they wanted it. The team at Millbridge Court were so welcoming and just generally really lovely to work with! It was my first time photographing there and I already couldn’t wait to go back for a future booking I had.
Simple, Elegant, and Full of Heart
As Georgia walked down the aisle she did so to the live vocals of Beth from AV Entertainment. The ceremony took place in front of stunning full-length windows that looked out onto the grounds. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Georgia and Jai exchanged vows in a setting that was simple yet incredibly beautiful.
Georgia looked incredible in her dress, which suited the day perfectly – relaxed, elegant, and effortlessly beautiful. Jai, equally as stylish, was all smiles as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. It was one of those moments where time seemed to stand still, and everyone could feel just how much this day meant to the couple.
Drinks and Sunshine
After the ceremony, guests were treated to drinks and canapés in the gardens while the newlyweds took a little time to themselves. The atmosphere was relaxed, and you could tell everyone was just enjoying being part of such a special day. With the weather on their side, the couple made the most of the sunshine, chatting with friends, laughing, and soaking it all in before heading inside for the reception.
A stunning reception
Inside, the reception was a beautiful blend of rustic charm and understated elegance. Millbridge Court’s stunning barn-style venue was the perfect space to host the party, with soft fairy lights, delicate florals, and a relaxed dining setup that made everything feel warm and inviting.
As the evening went on, the speeches were full of laughter and happy tears. Georgia and Jai’s friends and family clearly adore them, and it was so lovely to hear all the stories shared throughout the day. It was all about celebrating their love, their friendship, and the incredible journey they’re about to take together.
A Wedding Full of Joy
Georgia and Jai’s wedding was everything they hoped it would be – relaxed, fun, and full of love. From the beautiful ceremony to the easy going reception, it was a day that truly reflected their personalities. There was no pressure, just a group of people coming together to celebrate two incredible people.
