Rupal and Ben, the new Mr and Mrs Smith. What an incredibly nice couple!
I was first introduced to Rupal through a mutual friend and my initial catch up with the lovely bride was at one of my favourite steak restaurants, already we’re off to a good start! We had so much to chat about and I instantly knew that this was my kind of bride and groom; friendly, relaxed and open minded.
Now cut to 30th June 2018 in the heart of London at Regents Park. Rupal and Ben broke with tradition and we met here ahead of the ceremony for a few couple’s photographs. We were very fortunate to get the best of the UK sunshine, but my goodness it was warm! About 28 degrees of warm. And in the city. We did our best shade hunting and I tried to keep the bride and groom as cool as possible ahead of the ceremony, not the easiest of tasks but I think we succeeded.
We then jumped in a thankfully air-conditioned Uber and made our way to The Old Marylebone Town Hall . It has recently undergone a complete renovation inside and out and looks absolutely stunning and was going to make the perfect backdrop for this laid-back city wedding. The team at the TOMTH were also absolutely fantastic, a special thanks to Rockie who was just amazing and even with 7 weddings to juggle kept me updated on the day.
With a guest list of 15 this wedding ceremony was intimate and the room was filled with nothing but smiles. Both of the bride and groom’s families were fantastic and I was made to feel so welcome.
Then with the new Mr and Mrs Smith the whole wedding party made their way to The Wallace Collection where they were having afternoon tea ahead of their reception in the evening, which sounded like it was going to be a great party to celebrate with all of their extended family and friends. We captured a few group shots outside of The Wallace Collection and then I bid the bride and groom along with their family my final congratulations and left them to relax and enjoy their day celebrating together as husband and wife.
