Zeni & George in Chelsea, London
“We had an amazing experience with Claire from start to the end. Claire took her time and went through our ideas and suggestions with us way before the wedding. She was very responsive and nothing was a problem for her. Overall, highly recommended!!“
Third time lucky
As soon as Zeni and I were in contact we hit it off straight away, chat was easy and it was so much fun getting to learn about them as a couple. The dread Covid 19 had scuppered their previous plans and with this attempt there was also one significant difference…they were expecting their first baby. We were in contact a lot on the run up to the day checking that restrictions weren’t changing and also checking the weather apps. Their day was going to be wet at some points, there was no doubt about it. So, we devised a few different plans and scenarios for the ever-changing weather and decided to go with the flow on the day for whichever one we were dealt!
An intimate ceremony with friends, and family across the world!
Zeni and George had their ceremony in the beautiful Old Town Hall in Chelsea. They may not have had their families directly with them on the day, but for the entirety of the time that I was with them, they were dialled into Zoom not missing a second. Dave the best man was an excellent ‘master of Zoom’ and provided a running commentary for the viewers along with a few guided tours of the different venues. At various points throughout the day everyone got a chance to give their love and best wishes to the happy couple and their presence could always be felt. As always, the team in Chelsea Old Town Hall were so friendly and welcoming even with a small number of restrictions.
A low-key reception at The Phene.
We started the day with rain but as we left the ceremony to head to their reception at The Phene the skies became a shade lighter and umbrellas could be put away! The Phene was the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony and the stunning décor and setting added to Zeni and George’s botanical themed wedding reception. The staff were so friendly and attentive, even ensuring I had everything that I needed, and allowed us space to take all of the shots that we needed.
Couples’ portraits in the Chelsea.
After a glass of champagne (or a mocktail) with their guests Zeni, George and myself headed into some of the surrounding quintessential Chelsea roads to capture some couple’s portraits. As we walked out of the pub I stood back and allowed them a moment to themselves and you could see the happiness radiating out of them. Cradling their growing bump that would soon make them a family of three you could see just how much this day meant to them. Hopes and wishes that were finally coming to fruition. They were relaxed and effortless in our time together producing some absolutely stunning shots which you can see below.
Thank you so much for having me with you on your day. I cannot wait to hear the news when your little one arrives and I wish you so much love and happiness for your new family. Cx
